Wind resource assessment for a major wind farm in North Dakota included installation of six meteorological towers varying in height from 60 meters to 100 meters. Each tower had the capability to measure wind speed and direction at 10-meter intervals, record and store data locally, and transmit data to cloud storage for analysis and report production.
